The town of Belmar is getting ready raising tents for the 6th annual surf beach fun day for kids with Autism

The 6th Annual Beach Bash will be held Sunday, September 11, 2011 on the beautiful beaches of Belmar. The Beach Bash is a FREE event for the autism community and includes arts and crafts, organized activities, musical entertainment, face painting, informational booths and much more. The event also features a surf camp in which children with autism are given the opportunity to receive one-on-one surfing lessons alongside the famed staff of Surfer’s Healing. The 2009 Beach Bash hosted over 5,000 families and individuals living with Autism and we are looking forward to welcoming even more families this year!
Autism Family Services of New Jersey is pleased to bring both of these events back to the Jersey Shore this September. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call 1-877-237-4477 or visit www.autismfamilyservicesnj.org to register and receive up-to-date information. Please note that the surf camp registration will open on May 31, 2011 at 9pm at www.surfershealing.org.
In addition, last year the Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow added a second walk location. Join us on Sunday, May 15, 2011 on the beautiful Seaside Boardwalk as we raise much needed funds and awareness for Autism Family Services of New Jersey! In 2009, 95 cents of ever dollar raised went directly to programs and services! To learn more about the walk or to register your team please visit
