Years ago, in the 60's, you never saw all these people after Labor Day. No one sat on the beach. I often would be the only person walking the boardwalk or riding my bike. Wouldn't see a sole for miles. People came after supper; watched the surfers. That's what I remember. It surprises me to see so many there.
So different now. Aren't these people working? More retirees? They win the lottery…what?! LOL
