Part 4 of 4 Helicopter pulling boat out of ocean

vessel was a 42 foot silverton that ran hard aground last night around 2300. 02 persons on board and a small dog. shark rivers 25 was launched and due to the way the vessel was sitting and the sea state the persons were tied one at a time in a sling and pulled to the 25 from their aft swim platform. all persons and dog were safley pulled from the boat and transited to our station in shark river to ems to treat for shock. vessel had appx 300 gallons of fuel on board. not counting oil in the engines and reduction gears. i was up there today and the vessel is to badly broken to try to pull it off and there is a rock through the port bow hull its turning into a salvage mission. the only concern now is the fuel. tide is going out and the sun will evaporate most of it. but the rest of the waste managment is up to our sector
